Kenyans on social media have criticised Elgeyo Marakwet senator Kipchumba Murkomen after he attacked NASA leader Raila Odinga over the petition against Lady Justice Njoki Ndung'u.
This comes following Lawyer Apollo Mboya's filing a petition against the Supreme Court judge seeking that she be removed over gross misconduct.
"@RailaOdinga has filed a hopeless petition against Ndungu through @MboyaApollo. How come he ain't being castigated like @ngunjiriwambugu?" Murkomen said through his Twitter handle on Saturday.
The statement got a lot of criticism from his followers, with some now saying that preceding actions by Jubilee supporters were a handiwork of President Uhuru Kenyatta.
"Oh, so Ngunjiri Wambugu was Uhuru Kenyatta's? Confirmed by Majority Tweep in the Senate," Lone Felixâ.
One Pol010 said: "Twitter-lawyer! So its right to conclude that NW (Ngunjiri) was just a proxy used by Uhuru kenyatta to intimidate the able judges at the SCORK?"
Tony Watima added: "Textbook lawyer, have you read Ngunjiri's "Vioja Mahakamani" petition to compare it with Apollo Mboya's?"
"Because we all know that Raila doesn't hire clowns to do his work," Selina Okora argued.
Mali-Davy jr added: "You are always baseless and petty!"
"Can someone file a petition through somebody? Which law mheshimiwa did u study? If there is such kind of petition, Raila can never do that," Joseph Mboo chipped in.
Julius Zacheou argued: "Same as @UKenyatta changing laws through @kipmurkomen in the Senate and Parliament. Empty brains. Why panic if you have numbers."
