Kenyans on social media have raised rhetoric questions, following deaths of four prominent Kenyan leaders.
This follows the recent death of former chairman of the Truth, Justice and Reconciliation Commission (TJRC) Bethuel Kiplagat, Friday July 14, morning.
Ambassador Kiplagat, a former diplomat died aged 82 at a Nairobi hospital after long illness.
He served as TJRC chairman from 2009 to November 2010. He served as Kenya’s special envoy to the Somalia Peace Process from 2003 to 2005 and headed the board of the African Medical and Research Foundation from 1991 to 2003.
He resigned after coming under investigation for alleged past human rights abuses, particularly his role in the 1984 Wagalla Massacre.
His death followed that of former assistant cabinet minister Laikipia senator GG Kariuki, former powerful minister Nicholas Biwott and Interior and Coordination Cabinet Secretary, Major General (Rtd) Joseph Ole Nkaissery.
Kenyans on Twitter, however, wondered how come the four died almost at the same time. They linked them to the various unlawful incidents, against Kenyans, saying justice is being done.
Below are some of the reactions on twitter.
