Nakuru residents have lauded the 'Pangani 6' politicians who have chosen to preach peace.
The politicians led by Ferdinand Waititu and Moses Kuria on Sunday vowed to preach peace and unite Kenyans.
The step has seen Kenyans praise the politicians.
"I think that is a good step and they could have done so even yesterday,"said Anne Njeri.
On the other hand, Moses Njuguna said all politicians should follow the suit.
Green View Nyumba Kumi chair Stanley Kinuthia also gave his voice on the issue saying the two politicians have shown a good stand.
Kinuthia urged other politicians to join and sing the same tune of peace and joining Kenyans. The six legislatures, Moses Kuria, Ferdinand Waititu, Johnstone Muthama, Junet Mohammed, Timothy Bosire and Kimani Ngunjiri, were locked up in cells for alleged hate speech.
They were, however, released on cash bails.
Meanwhile, Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has revealed that he has been invited for a meal by Opposition leader Raila Odinga. He said he will honour the invitateion.
