Kenyans on social media have congratulated the Kenya Defence Forces football team after they won 2-1 against a local team.
A post by Kenya Defence Forces on social media seen by this writer quickly became a sensation on the internet.
The football match took place in Dhobley Somalia.
“Kenya Defence Forces peacekeepers working under the African Union Mission in Somalia Dhoblwy have been holding regular football tournament with local clubs there. We played with a local youth team winning 2:1 KDF under AMISON will continue promoting sporting activities and enable the youth to engage in meaningful activity,” posted KDF on their Facebook page.
Kenyans congratulated the KDF for engaging well with the locals.
