A section of Kenyans took to social media to express their disappointment with Kenya power after they were thrown into darkness on Tuesday evening following a power blackout in some parts of the country. The electricity company took to its social media page to explain what had caused the situation and assured that engineers were working to restore the power.However a section of twitter users hit out at the company despite their explanation. @kendagor11: In Japan the last time there was a blackout was 1973 for only 3 hours, and 3 top officials on energy sector resigned. But in kenya there are always a blackouts and the Energy CS is retained.. #KPLCShutdown , Kenya Power
