Lawyer Miguna Miguna was on Thursday reportedly banned by the Kenya Airports Authority via Qatar Airways from flying back into the country.
The embattled lawyer reacted to the news citing that he wasn't personally issued with the notice and so he urged his advocates back in Kenya to authenticate the matter and deal with it.
Kenyans in learning this had to react to the story which has hit the headlines of most media houses both local and international. Below are some of the reactions from Kenyans online;
@marokah_dillion: this is a fake government if they can handle corruption they way they are handling Miguna Miguna Kenya would be far.
@Wasike_Dennis: MigunabMiguna can fly on Somalia Air via Mogadishu then cross over on foot via Mandela. The only problem is that he doesn't want to jet back quietly...
@I_Wangai: Someone call on Fred Matiangi into this this Corruption Dragon like #NYSscandal & #MaizeScandal. Wachaneni na Miguna, this one will drain the swamp in a Month.Drastic measures are NEEDED asap.
@JarsoKuduba: Don't worry Dr Miguna. Just pray to God we also pray 4 u. I squarely blame Ukenyata 4 placing Matiangi in a wrong ministry
@RobleanoM: Enough is enough. We have been wailing since independence about bad governance and corruption. Nothing has changed. Corruption at high level. The only way to save Kenyan is by joining the revolutionary movement headed by Dr Miguna Miguna.
@o_obuga: This country has lost track. Uhuru Kenyatta is focusing on trivialities such is chasing a Kenyan by birth Miguna Miguna, signing useless cybercrime bill yet billions are being looted under his watch.
@kajohhnie: Some fools should use their energy and synergy 2 fight corruption Instead of harassing our General Miguna Miguna. Raila Odinga what r u doing now yet u r saying referendum? R u looting too?? We need Miguna back 2 fight corruption & etc.
@Dzombojnr: This is why they are blocking Miguna Miguna from coming to kenya because he speaks the truth.
@JerotichSeii: All these ridiculous side shows targeting Miguna Miguna go to demonstrate the lengths to which people will go to keep him away from his home, Kenya. They will not prevail. The Constitution is clear & so are the court orders.
@IvanASK7: We should not tolerate such indecent directives metted on Kenyans. Any injustice to one Kenya should be resisted. Otherwise all of us will woke up one day to shocking news that we have been declared persona non grata
