On Tuesday morning ODM leader Raila Odinga paid a visit to Nairobi businessman Chris Kirubi. The businessman has been out of the country for medical treatment. The former Prime Minister was accompanied by lawyer Paul Mwangi.

"This morning I visited @CKirubi who has recently returned from overseas where he had gone for medical treatment. It was great to see him in high spirits and we wish him all the best as he continues with his recovery," Odinga tweeted.

The businessman said it was time for all Kenyans to work together towards a better nation. He acknowledged Odinga's mission to work for the unity of the country. On his part, Odinga said that he was in the process of uniting the country.

"Earlier today my friend Raila Odinga paid me a courtesy call at my home. I am proud that he wants to leave a legacy of a united Kenya. It is time we work together towards a better nation," Kirubi tweeted.

Many Kenyans on Twitter thanked Odinga for visiting Kirubi and wished the billionaire a quick recovery after his return to Kenya. Here are reactions from KOT:
