However, a move by the event’s main organisers, NRG radio, seems to have some rubbed Kenyans on Facebook the wrong way.NRG through their Facebook page and eBay invited bids and offered to sell the chair Rick Ross sat on during an interview at the station for a whopping Sh127, 900.

The advert invited all sorts of responses with the majority of Kenyans terming it as an exercise in futility.

Check out what Kenyans had to say about the move:

“Kiasi kiasi utaskia mara ooh ile karai aliogea.. Mara ati ile n'gombe ilitoa maziwa ya chai yake,” said Njihia Gakiyo.

“First of all, that is Eric Koros and not Rick Ross. Secondly, I can get a similar chair from downtown Nairobi for 12 dollars,” posted Untarchable Tarchisio.

“Saa si pia muuze pia ile sabuni aliogea,” wrote Zj SirFrank Mimano.

“Si mtumiage tu uko studio,” said Ngure Em En Symoh.

“Tulieni... sijaskia tukiuziwa ya ile ndege alikam nayo,” posted Kim Traniq.

“Alafu ndo miujiza itendeke ama?” asked Ułé Mgéńgë Mmøjã Mtrúù.

Some Facebook users took the opportunity to castigate the station for not according the same privileges to local artists.

“Na yenye Timmy anakalianga?? Mbona hamuuzi tununue hio?” asked Eli Kipngeno.

Others could just not stomach the idea, terming the move as nonsense.

“This's nonsense!” wrote Bonface Njau.

“NKT mko na ufala NRG," posted Untamed Addy.
