Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua on Monday revealed that he had already handed over details of his bank accounts and properties to the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) officials for audit.
Through his twitter account, the embattled governor further challenges other leaders to follow the suit without fear.
"I freely gave the EACC details of my accounts, properties, relatives etc for an audit. No honest leader should be afraid of a lifestyle audit in the fight against corruption. Public money has to be protected, " Mutua said.
His move was, however, not received well by several Kenyans across the country.
