Celebrate radio presenter Maina Kageni has officially announced through a video on his official Facebook page that he is joining the murky water of Nairobi county politics by contesting for the Woman Representative seat.
"Its not a secret anymore, I will be on the ballot and mu symbol is a smart weave, Nairobi women deserve the best come out and vote for me in large numbers," he said.
The celebrate Classic 105 FM breakfast show host has long been coined as the women defender owing to his many morning debates that resonate well with the women in Kenya and more so Nairobi county.
His bold declaration to contest for a seat majorly perceived as a preserve of a woman left many Kenyans on social media with different reponses over Maina's new found zeal.
