Nyamira social media users have joined the rest of Kenyans in wishing celebrated lawyer Otiende Amollo quick recovery.
The first term legislator collapsed on Saturday as he prepared to address mourners in the funeral to the son of the late cabinet minister Oloo Aringo.
After a brief first aide at Bondo Medical Center, the ODM lawmaker was rushed to Kisumu' Aga Khan hospital where he is undergoing treatment.
"It is sad that such a committed lawmaker is undergoing health challenges. I wish him the very best during this trying moments," wrote Dennis Onyiego on Kitutu Masaba WhatsApp Forum.
At Nyamira ODM Youth League, Douglas Oindo said: " I wish my best legislator quick recovery. He should be the model MP across the country."
Despite serving miles away from Nyamira County, locals have often used his photos in community work to challenge area leadership on service delivery.
In various instances, Amollo has often been seen constructing houses for the impoverished and was on Friday pictured mingling with locals.
