Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua has been dealt a major blow after the appellant court nullified his August 8, election's victory.
The move comes after his competitor former Kathiani MP Wavinya Ndeti filed an appeal against his win.
Ndeti, who contested on a Wiper party ticket had told the court that the election was marred by all sorts of illegalities and irregularities.

Jax Sar: Mutua never won that election. Wavinya defeated him but then the problem lies with the people of Machakos. Mutua is a performer and if there be a by-election, I'd advise them to still vote Mutua in and ignore the politics of who's siding with Kalonzo.
