The incident, which happened near Lang'ata police station, along Langata Road has attracted an angry reaction among Kenyans online, with many calling for the arrest of the officers.

The woman who was wearing black outfit, had reportedly asked for her balance of her bus fare (change), from the conductor of the matatu she was traveling in, after the police nabbed the vehicle alongside the conductor, following a traffic offence.

In the short clip, the officers are captured trying to bundle the woman into a waiting police van, with onlookers trying to stop them to no avail.

Tei Fireproof Fireproof They are silly u cant handle a woman like ur ma'am like that those female police style up have respect fo God.... Wish your daughters be handled like that...let God deal with you.God hear this prayer.deal with this police.

the police force...kazi ni kuonea innocent Kenyans...this law is only applicable to unarmed innocent Kenyans....deal with armed criminals not innocent Kenyan women...cowards!!!

Andrea Nafula Ngwilly Makes no sense. I hope she is still alive.

However, others felt it did not amount to harass, faulting the lady for interfering in the officers’ work.

Hon Olewe Their is no harassment at all the law of arrest says when one fail to comply or resist arrest a reasonable force should be applied
