An advertisement on Kenya's leading daily Newspaper, Daily Nation has elicited mixed reactions among Kenyans on Social Media on Friday morning.
The advertisement was urging audience to join a cartel in order to win government tenders without sweat.
The advertisement reads, 'Join government cartels and win government supply tenders without sweat .0722 647593'.
Kenyans were quick to react to the advert. "So our leading Newspapers are now advocating and promoting corruption. What a banana republic we have become,"Francis Omondi wrote on Facebook.
"Hahaha, we should make corruption legal now that our media has joined the bandwagon,"Jim Kim said.
"Daily Nation has a bold advert for you people. Corruption cartels are recruiting. Hurry up, few opportunities left. Grab this golden chance. And this cartel thing for sure works. No need to doubt it. A life member of this cartel was once a chicken seller, but is now building a house worth 1.2 Billion in his rural home. Mbona ufe maskini?," Arap Doyo voiced his opinion.
