The controversial MP penned a hard-hitting speech that he intends to read during the funeral service of late second liberation hero Kenneth Njindo Matiba.

South Africa Economic Freedom Fighters party leader Julius Malema, 'wowed' Kenyans after laying it bare knuckle at Winnie Mandela's funeral about a week ago. Babu Owino shared the speech on social media platforms, eliciting mixed reactions from Kenyans.

The Embakasi legislator took a jab at the KANU regime, its supporters and the current crop of leaders whom he accuses of hypocrisy with the phrase "Matiba forgive them" concluding each swipe.

A section of Kenyans seems to agree with Babu Owino while others have rebuked him terming it a 'joke'.

Here are some reactions from Kenyans on Twitter.

@Wuod Rongo "Brief as a cock on a hen? This is just not funny,we're mourning yawa!"

@Bildad Sirengo: "The late does not need a ceremonial burial."

@Augustus Chepkurwo: "Matiba will be cremated and therefore the luxury of any speech might not come into play."

@kaka zema:  "Any speech below Julius Malema's will be treated as "useless" coz malema already set the tone. So, tread carefully coz the last time I checked you have no history with Matiba. The burial will be as brief as....."

@NicksNjoroge: "Small growing boy u should be serious, u think Kenneth's funeral is lyk university students meeting upeleke tibim zako za utoto uko?"

@Erick _Midila: "Good one, but will they give you time to read that speech. Ceremony will be a family thing."

@ Benjamin Mzushi: "Will soon connect you with uncle Churchill to nurture your comedy talent."

@Wisley Omario: "I thought you were creative, stop being a copycat, Malema was even more articulate than this piece of filthy thoughts. Anyway, rip Matiba."

@AlijaKovic Keter: "A KENYAN MALEMA.... Praying that speech is read for Kenya to hear loud and clear."

@Bonface Major: "We need a Julius malema at the burial of matiba."

@Harry King: "Try this and you'll be arrested. The status quo is intact and ready to dismantle such mediocrity."

@Kenneth Castro: "Give us a sign we have not forgiven them."
