Kenyans should have unity and political differences should not be the cause of violence among the poor Kenyans. Kenyans should embrace peace and unity because the leaders who make us demonstrate on the streets once they met the greet one another, laugh together and exchange words peacefully.
This reminds me when Cord leader Raila and Moses Wetangula met president Kenyatta and his deputy at state house a day to Madaraka day. The leaders greeted one another while laughing happily.
Joseph Nkaisserry who was threatening to arrest the opposition leaders for holding anti-IEBC demonstrations was seen comfortably greeting and laughing with Raila Odinga and Wetangula.
But when poor Kenyans meet on streets demonstrating, they insult each other, throw stones and even kill themselves. Supporters are struggling to make a living with insults but the leaders who make them do that meet, laugh and eat together happily.
Kenyans should know that their lives will still remain same no matter how the supporter a party or a politician. Leaders will pay them to throw stones to each other but the fact remains that the supporters are the ones to suffer as the leaders live luxuriously.
Politicians will today insult each other at public rallies but later they meet drink and eat together as Kenyans will throw stones to themselves. Politics is a dirty game.
Kenya is big than politics and politicians. Kenyans should embrace unity and peace since politics is once in a while. Politicians use common mwananchi to make him or her famous.
The politicians simply does this by paying them cheap money such as Sh50 which can not change someone's life.
Common mwananchi is the final tool. He/she decides on who should take office. Before supporting a party or a politician, one should ask will a certain politician help the entire country, county and ward where the voters live.
Kenyans should open eyes and vote for leaders who are not corrupt but will bring development without discrimination due to race, religion, tribe, gender and color.
