Kenyans took to the social media to praise Udoto for his courageous nature before the commission terming him a hero.

Most people viewed the act as a representation of the youth who have been denied access to government opportunities.

Others faulted the qualifications for the top post, saying it locked out the youth igniting a new heated debate on social media.

Kenyans wished the ambitious young man good luck as they congratulated him for representing the youth.

“Udoto has highlighted one of the major challenges we face as the youth, being locked out of many opportunities as a result of selfishness among our fathers who want to cling to power. Where can we the youth get experience when they can’t employ us to get the experience isn’t that endless circles of some few individuals who want to maintain the status quo?” posed Hassan Abdul.

Mary Awiti congratulated Udoto, saying it shows able leadership among the youth curtailed by the structures in the country.

“Kangemi has represented the youth well. We are able, young and energetic, but the system depresses us and this should be addressed,” stated Awiti.
