[Photo| Reuters]Kenyans will be heading for another public holiday next week on Tuesday, November 28, days after having two public holidays on October 25 and 26 during the repeat presidential election.The holiday is due to the swearing-in ceremony of President-elect Uhuru Kenyatta which is in line with Section 12 of the Assumption of the Office of President Act.According to Sub-section 3 of the Act, the day on which the President-elect is sworn in shall be a public holiday. Sub-section 1 of Section 12 of the Act, stipulates that the swearing in of the President-elect shall be conducted in “a public ceremony held in the capital city in accordance with Article 141 of the Constitution”.Uhuru's swearing-in ceremony will be held at the Safaricom Kasarani Stadium where over 100, 000 people are expected to attend the inauguration with at least 20 heads of states.Kenyatta will be assuming office for a second term after being re-elected.
