A group of local fans will hold a procession next Saturday in solidarity with injured Kenyan captain Victor Wanyama.

The Lion of Muthurwa has been out for the better part of this English Premier League season after he suffered a knee injury over three months ago.

Wanyama has missed 15 matches for his side Tottenham Hotspurs.

According to the fans, the procession aims at encouraging Wanyama to cope with the injury.
