Nairobi County's Women Representative Rachel Shebesh faced the wrath of Kenyans on social media after she shared photos of her with a handicapped man on her facebook page.

In one of the photos, she was seated on the ground chatting to the man, while in the second one she was pushing his wheelchair as her bodyguards and supporters wearing T-shirts with her image written 'mama Nai, Jenga Nai' watched from a distance.

"The severity of one's disability does not determine their level of potential. The greatest barriers that persons with disabilities have to overcome are not steps or curbs, it's expectations. I stand for disability rights," she captioned.

This however did go down well with social media users who have since come up with a hashtag '#shamelessShebesh", accusing her of trying to ape the now famous Pauline of Safaricom from Nakuru.

"Yawa shebesh has just become so desperate like this yawa,, PR turned sour," one user lamented.
