Kenyans urge to embrace peaceful coexistence
Deputy President William Ruto has urged Kenyans to embrace peaceful coexistence among each other since politics is now over.
He said Kenya will not achieve its development agenda if people are divided into political and tribal affiliations.
“I want to urge Kenyans to forget what happened during the electioneering period and live harmoniously with one another. No matter whether you voted for us or not we will serve all Kenyans equally. We will be able to achieve a lot if we respect one another,” he said in Eldoret town during the burial ceremony of Edward Limo, Friday.
“It is time for us Kenyans to join hands and build our beautiful country and we should not allow few self-centered politicians to divide us basing on our tribal or political cocoons,” he added.
He also urged politicians to put down their political differences for the betterment of the nation.
He, however, wished all Kenyans across the broad a merry Christmas and a happy new year.
“I want to wish all Kenyans a merry Christmas and a prosperous 2018 and should remember the less fortunate in the society since it is a season of giving,” noted the deputy president.
