He said National Cohesion and Integration Commission cannot fight hate speech fully but should be assisted by Kenyans.

Speaking to the press in Nakuru on Monday afternoon, Mwamba said the nation should not be divided on ethnicity or even political lines.

The businessman called on Rift Valley residents and the nation at large to be ambassadors of peace.

On the issue of 'Pangani 6' politicians who were arrested over hate speech and later released, Mwamba said they should desist from such utterances as they may lead to polarization of the nation.

He called on leaders to think of the nation more than themselves as a way of patriotism.

"We don't want leaders who think of self-interests but rather leaders should focus on the welfare of the nation and citizens," said Mwamba.

He also appealed for more strengthening of National Cohesion and Integration Commission in order to tame hate speech. PHOTO:Njoro Businessman Mwamba Kinyanjui. He has appealed for patriotism among Kenyans to foster peace.
