Communication Authority of Kenya has urged the general public to report cases of cyber-crime to the commission in an effort to curb cyber-crime.
Director General of the body Mr Francis Wangusi said cyber-crime is a worldwide challenge and one that needed concerted efforts from all stakeholders to fight against it.
He further added that the public had a duty in fighting cyber-crime.
“We would like to remind the public that cyber-crime is a major global challenge and one that requires the concerted efforts of all stakeholders globally including the general public,” he said.
Wangusi also urged the public to play their part in curbing cyber-crime, stating that overcoming the crime would only be achieved when all parties played their roles.
“We wish to urge the general public and stakeholders to offer support as we strive to ensure a safer Kenyan Cyber space,” he said.
