Speaking on Jeff Koinange Live on Wednesday, the veteran politician said the DP is overambitious and must be having 'a hidden motive'.

''When someone is too ambitious then you have to take caution. Ruto's overambitious to ascend to presidency is proof that he has hidden plans whose achievement can only be provided by the seat and Kenyans should not trust such a person with their votes,'' he warned.

He laughed off Ruto's confidence in succeeding President Uhuru Kenyatta, terming him as poorly prepared and set for a defeat.

''He has to do away with his confidence as he is headed for a loss. There are many political players who are uncomfortable with his leadership and will throw in their all to see him down,'' said Wamwere.
