Siaya Senator James Orengo has warned IEBC against engaging in electoral malpractices ahead of the next general elections.

Speaking on Sunday in Siaya, the lawmaker noted that the Opposition coalition NASA was committed to ensure that the forthcoming polls are free, fair and credible, adding that Kenyans will not accept a manipulated poll.

"We will not accept Al Ghurair Company's bid to print the ballot papers. We will deal with the issue firmly before the August 8 general election. We will fight these acts of connivance until everything is done according to the law as defined by the Constitution," he stated.

Orengo's sentiments were reiterated by Ugunja MP Opiyo Wandayi, who observed that Kenyans were not ready to participate in an already flawed process.

"Our supporters will not accept to participate in an election that has already been rigged. There is already a crisis," he said.
