The Kenyan captain became the first East African player to play in the English Premier League, and his move worth Sh1.6 billion move to English Premier League giants Tottenham Hotspur from Southampton marked yet another milestone for a Kenyan footballer. He is currently earning Sh35 million gross and Sh20 million net at White Hart Lane.

Olunga hit the headlines when he moved from his Swedish side Djugardens IF to China’s Guizhou Hengfeng Zhicheng.The Chinese club are said to have been paying the former Gor Mahia striker a cool Sh12 million per month. He however slid down the pecking order and was forced to move to Spanish side Girona on a loan deal. 

Macdonald MarigaMariga’s earning in Spain where he plays for Segunda B side Real Oviedo are is not disclosed, but reports indicate he is paid handsomely.

He is not a household name in Kenya because of the competition in the midifelld, but Osiako is an excellent player and earns a good amount of between 6.5 -7million a month.
