That Kenya is on the edge as the most important week in its history approaches fast is not in doubt.
Beginning Monday 13th November 2017, Kenya will have to look at its destiny in the face as the Supreme Court braces for a make-or-break decision that will determine the destiny of the nation.
We have already witnessed a case of inflamed passions coupled with pushes and pulls between the gigantic political parties NASA and Jubilee Party over the contentious 26th November, 2017 poll.
NASA leader Raila Amolo Odinga shocked the nation when he unexpectedly pulled out of the repeat poll citing an uneven playing field and alleged unfair officiating by I.E.B.C.
For a long time, Kenya has been touted as an Island of peace in the tumultuous sea of the Eastern African region. This good name is now threatened by tribal politics which is causing inter-community tensions.
There have been numerous calls by religious leaders to political leaders to tone down the rhetoric in order to cool down the political temperatures.
The religious leaders have explored ways of bringing the two leaders, Uhuru and Raila, into the table of dialogue.
As it stands, the Supreme Court of Judge Maraga is holding the destiny of the Nation in it's hand.
We pray for solomon's wisdom for the bench of judges as they dispense their hallowed duty to the nation.
