Emmanuel Ake Richard Muttendango, 37, commonly known as Ake, is one of the greatest Kenyan fottballer of his generation.
Ake, who dates his ancestry from Kenya played as a forward for Danish sides where he spent one decade playing during his prime.
Ake, whose mother is from Kenya and father from Seychelles, started his career with third-tier club Black Panther in Coast Province.
His agent, a tourist Dutch arranged for him to play in the Netherlands where he made unsuccessful trials. Ake was forced to leave to his father in Denmark.
Ake 20yrs then, was signed by Danish club Akademisk Boldklab, where he spent four seasons, later opting for a move away from the club to FC Nordsjielland in 2004.
He was later loaned to second division side Hellerup IK where he netted 13 goals in his debut season.
His footballing ambitions made fellow league side Hb Koge opt for his services, where he scored 5 goals in his first 13 games.
Ake later had spells at Lyngby BK, Noested BK and Srebolle BI, before joining FC Djursland a fourth tier club in the Danish league where he hanged his boots.
During his stint, Ake was called for the Kenyan national team, Harambee Stars, where he made three appearances scoring one goal; against Burkina Faso in the 2004 Africa nations Cup in Tunis, Tunisia, in what was the first ever Kenyan win at the Nation's Cup.
