In an interview with a local daily, she listed some of Kenya's re-known women who she schooled with at Kenya High School.
They include Supreme Court Judge Njoki Ndung’u, former Mavoko MP and August 8 Machakos gubernatorial aspirant Wavinya Ndeti, and the wife to Siaya Senator James Orengo Betty Murungi. Murungi is a lawyer as well as a human rights activist.
Justice Njoki Ndung'u will be remembered for her landmark ruling in the Supreme Court case last year in which opposition leader Raila Odinga challenged the re-election of President Uhuru Kenyatta as she was among the two judges who threw out Raila's case for "lack of evidence".
The other Judge who dissented was Jackton Boma Ojwang.
Wavinya Ndeti is known for her outspokenness especially in the political circles and she is a known defender of Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka.
