The President said that there is no need for politicians to engage in hateful politics saying it will only divide Kenyans.

Speaking at Nakuru’s Kabarak University on Friday, Kenyatta said that time to play politics ended and leaders should strive on development matters.

He observed that Kenya belongs to every citizen adding that no one has a right to speak negative about others.

“It is important for politicians to stop petty politics and instead accommodate each other’s views,” said Kenyatta.

Kenyatta noted that his government has taken the initiative to improve education standards by ensuring that every child has access to quality and affordable education.

“My government has heavily invested in education, from next year we want to make secondary education free of charge,” said the President.

Kenyatta also said that enough funds have been set under the bursary scheme which he indicated will enable needy but bright student’s access education.

The President urged university graduates to strive at attaining job creation instead of waiting for white collar jobs.

He said that though unemployment remains a challenge his government has initiated measures including provision of development funds for the youths to better their lives.
