Opposition leader Raila Odinga has accused the Jubilee government of incompetence for failing to protect the lives and property of Kenyans.
Raila's sentiment are in regards to the recent clashes in Kerio Valley.
The clashes have claimed at least 20 lives in a period of three months and scores have been displaced.
“The primary responsibility of every government is to protect lives and property of all citizens. That is why they exist worldwide.The government needs to get serious with its mandate of protecting its Citizens and it is capable of stopping the killings in Kerio Valley if it was willing," said Odinga.
Odinga was speaking at Chesongoch Primary School during his tour in Kerio Valley on Tuesday.
In his visit he gave a personal donation of 200 blankets, 100 bags of Maize and Beans and Ksh200, 000 for medical bills for the injured victims.
