Legendary Jamaican reggae artist Kenyatta Hill will perform in Nairobi on Saturday.
Kenyatta Hill who is the son to former reggae star Joseph Hill of the group Mighty Culture will jet into the country on Thursday night at 9:30 PM ahead of his show that will be staged during the Jamhuri Festival at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) on Saturday.
Kenyatta Hill, who is named after Kenya's founding father Jomo Kenyatta began his music career one day after the death of his father Joseph Hill who collapsed and died while on stage in Germany in 2006.
From the time of the death of his father, Kenyatta Hill has staged numerous shows across the world perhaps proving to the globe that he has the capacity to step into the shoes of his late dad who was internationally respected for songs including Adis Ababa, Where Do You Get Your Bread Mr Slagad, Wings Of A Dove, Be Honest To Yourselves, among others.
Hill gave himself so wholly as his father had for very many years that the two seemed an inseparable pair with similar voices and their vibes igniting the critics and yielding a new generation of reggae mantra "Magic Not Magic".
Some of the songs he is famously known for include Police Man, Jah Is My Friend, Blessed Herb, Afrikan, among others.
