Jubilee party secretary general Raphael Tuju, ICT Cabinet secretary Joe Mucheru and his Sports, Culture and Arts counterpart Hassan Wario, went to Kisumu with a mission to find ways fish farming can be revived.
Tuju, while addressing the press in Kisumu said Kenyatta was concerned with the problems facing people depending on Lake Victoria saying the hyacinth is a total environmental disaster.
“The President looks at the situation as an environmental disaster which needs to be addressed urgently," said Tuju, Thuursday.
He noted the team would tour areas that boarder Lake Victoria which include Bondo, Rarieda, Homa Bay and Kisumu to ensure they partner with the local leaders to fight the problem.
