[Photo|PSCU]Former Kilome MP Harun Mwau has filed an election petition at the Supreme Court, seeking to challenge the validity of President-elect President Uhuru Kenyatta's re-election.Lawyers representing the ex-lawmaker were filing the petition at the Supreme Court Registry, as at 4:30pm Monday on grounds that Uhuru was not validly elected. Mwau is also seeking to challenge the manner in which IEBC conducted the fresh presidential election on October 26th, without conducting party nominations.Mwau's petition comes on the d-day of filling the petition challenging re-election of Kenyatta, who was declared winner by the IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati, in an election that was boycotted by the Opposition.Uhuru was declared winner on October 30, providing a seven day room for any one to file an election petition against him.
