[Photo/Daily Nation]The First Lady Margaret Kenyatta has sent a special to the residents of Nyanza region an area considered as opposition stronghold as the nations draw near the August 8, elections.
While speaking on Sunday in Homa Bay town, Mrs Kenyatta urged Nyanza residents to vote for President Uhuru Kenyatta if they want to witness progressive development.
She was speaking when she met members of the Maendeleo Ya Wanawake Organisation.
“Voting for President Uhuru Kenyatta will ensure progress and continued transformation of the country,” said Mrs Kenyatta.
The First Lady also said Uhuru's reelection would also mean that her initiatives targeting the development of vulnerable women in the country will also have been extended.“Jubilee government will give Sh3,000 to vulnerable Kenyans if President Kenyatta is re-elected,” said Mrs Kenyatta.
