Kenyerere market businessmen in Bobasi Constituency have lamented over the dirt at the market that comes from Itumbe tea factory which is near to the market.
According to them, the market has a foul smell because the remains of tea leaves and other wastes gets its way into the market from the factory hindering their businesses.
Addressing the journalist on Thursday, traders challenged Kisii County and national government to work together to construct a good drainage system.
“We pay tax hence our governments should help us in this situation and construct the drainage system in this market so that the dirt doesn’t get in this market,” said Chrispus Morere a trader
Traders also challenged Kisii County to construct the road that heads to their Kenyerere market because they find it difficult to get in and out of the market.
