A Kericho parliamentary aspirant eyeing Sigowet/Soin constituency seat has reportedly gone missing just a day into the much anticipated Jubilee Party primaries.
Ken Kuley is said to have disappeared on Thursday when his car was found dumped near Sigowet market.
He was seeking to unseat the incumbent Member of Parliament Justice Kemei on a Jubilee Party ticket.
The police have since launched an investigation into Kuley's disappearance.
"I will come back to you the moment we get full information about the matter," said Belgut sub-county commissioner.
Cases of aspirants disappearing in unclear circumstances have increased in the recent times, with political pundits arguing that it is a new tact being employed by deceitful politicians to win sympathy votes.
Kuley's disappearance comes just days after a host of Jubilee aspirants eyeing different elective seats in Kiambu County went missing before resurfacing much later.
