The Kericho Senator was addressing KANU national chairman, Gideon Moi whom he noted was conspicuously absent during Senate sittings raising questions over his commitment to the county.

"Sometimes I wonder where your Senator goes because I rarely see him during Senate seating’s and I try to look around and see if I will find him but he is not anywhere to be seen," said Cheruiyot.

Led by their Leader of Majority Elijah Toroitich, the MCAs described the political pronouncement as misinformed and urged politicians from other counties to stop 'demeaning' their Senator.

"We want some respect for our Senator and some busy bodies should stop bad-mouthing him," said Toroitich.

Speaking at a press conference, the MCAs endorsed Baringo Senator Moi as the county spokesperson, describing him as a development oriented leader and sign of unity to the locals.

They accused MPs from Baringo county of being political sycophants of the DP.
