Nyamira County Governor John Nyagarama has assured residents that the long-standing dispute over Keroka town between Nyamira and Kisii counties will in the coming weeks be settled.
Speaking to the press in his office on Friday, the Nyamira County boss said that residents should expect a final conclusion from the discussions that are ongoing concerning the market.
“I would like to let the residents have confidence and know that there are sweet fruits coming out from the resolutions which we are making,and hope that the problem will be solved once and for all,” he said.
“Since Senator Okong'o, senator Obure and other leaders have come on board to discuss the issue, every thing will come to an end," he added.
The two county bosses have been holding meetings to discuss over the matter, but haven't came up with a lasting solution.
