 Gor Mahia Fc tactician Dylan Kerr is the new Sportpesa Premier League coach of the month after leading the champions in through a five-match winning streak in the month of September.

The Englishman saw his side beat Nzoia Sugar, Chemelil Sugar, Sofapaka, Tusker and Bandari although they later drew against Thika United to fail the 100 percent mark.

Consequently, the Sports Journalists Association of Kenya (SJAK) who are the main organizer of the awards were impressed by the record and feted the former Azam man at the Camp Toyoyo stadium on Thursday.

Kerr joins his predecessor Marcello 'Ze Maria' Ferreira, Sammy Omollo(Posta Rangers), George Nsimbe (Tusker), Sam Sssimbwa(Sofapaka) and former Western Stima tactician Henry Omino who have also bagged the awards.

The award will see him pocket Ksh 75,000 and a personified trophy.
