After guiding Gor Mahia to win the Sportpesa Premier League (KPL) title, Dylan Kerr has been given the liberty to make key signings ahead of the new season.

Gor Mahia CEO Lordvick Aduda Aduda reiterated that the club will respect the wishes of the former Simba SC boss with their role reduced to simple managerial execution.

K’ogalo’s executive held a meeting on Wednesday where part of the discussion included allowing the Englishman to give direction concerning their transfer business over the close season.

Kerr is intent on bolstering his squad as he prepares for next year’s continental challenge having earned qualification for the CAF Champions League by virtue of winning the 2017 KPL title.

“We can’t influence his decisions because now he is the owner of the team. As the management once the coach as identified the areas that need to be improved then it’s our responsibility to approach them and start negotiations,” Aduda told Citizen.
