Gor Mahia head coach Dylan Kerr has expressed his delight with the club’s new signings ahead of the new season and international assignments.

Kerr, who led Kogalo to clinch the league title last year, said the club’s new recruits have given his side the right squad balance and depth necessary to compete at the CAF Champions League.

Gor have already resumed camp ahead of their two-legged CAF CL preliminary round fixture against Equatorial Guinea champions Vegetarianos on February 10 and 17.

“It’s not an easy task for us because this is the biggest stage of club football in the continent. We want to plan appropriately so we can match the expectations of our fans,” Kerr said on Thursday.

The KPL champions are on a two-week high altitude pre-season training at Egerton University with almost all of their newly acquired stars already reporting to camp.

The club has signed Charles Momanyi, Ivorian Ephraim Guikan, Wesley Onguso, Kevin Omondi, Humphrey Mieno, Samuel Onyango, Ian Otieno and Lawrence Juma

The new players have all been registered for the CAF assignments.
