Kenya Premier League champions Gor Mahia head coach Dylan Kerr has heaped praises on his charges over their goalscoring heroics that has seen the team score over 15 goals in their preseason campaigns.
K'ogalo is currently camping at the Egerton University in Nakuru and recently swept aside Ugandan champions Kampala City Council Authority (KCCA) 4-2 in a friendly match at the Afraha Stadium to keep their 100 percent winning streak in their preseason assignments.
And speaking on the same on Monday after a light workout in Egerton, Kerr expressed optimism that the sixteen times Kenyan champions will have a fulfilling 2018 season that will also see them take part in the Caf champions league.
"The win obviously will be a confidence boost for the charges going into the new season. We got the goals, something that is important in the end if football but we missed clear-cut chances in the earlier stages which on a normal day could have easily been tucked in.There is progress in the team and we can only get better as the season draws closer," he said.
Other than KCCA, K'ogalo also walloped Egerton University FC 6-0 before drubbing Nakuru Combined and Nakuru West FC 4-0 each. They also beat KPL rivals Vihiga United 2-0.
