Former US Secretary of State John Kerry has said the international community is committed to overseeing a democratic end to Kenya's election.
Kerry speaking on Wednesday called on leaders to act in a manner that inspires confidence in the various election stakeholders.
"So far, IEBC has conducted the process well. We urge Kenyans to exercise patience as IEBC moves to rectify the emerging issues on results' management."
Kerry is the head of mission of Cater Centre - a US-based NGO which does not speak for the American government.
"We would encourage the candidates at the top level to be very clear to their followers about the critical need of Kenya setting an example to the world," said Kerry.
