Last year, the government issued a directive to the school heads that affected their transfers from their mother counties. Apparently no school head will be serving in one station for more than four years.

Speaking to Journalists in Machakos School, KESSHA National Chairman Kahi Indimuli termed the violent attacks as unreasonable and uncalled for.

He called on the Government to move with speed and assure the school heads who moved to new stations adequate security.

“With time all of us have accepted and we have moved to the new stations, but as KESSHA we are taken aback when innocent principles who took their new stations are being evicted by leaders in those areas. We want to feel welcome to the new area stations” he said.

He said that it is unwelcome for the local communities not to welcome the new school heads; he encouraged his colleagues who moved with new schools to walk tall and work closely with all stake holders to achieve high level standards of education in the Country.

“We want to condemn with the strongest term possible and urge that perpetrators of this actions be brought to book,if we allow this to happen , as a nation we will be losing it” Said Kahi.
