[Photo/Kethi Kilonzo]Lawyer Kethi Kilonzo, has sent Opposition leader Raila Odinga, a message, days after he withdrew his candidature from the October 26 fresh presidential election.Kethi, who represented Odinga, in the 2013 presidential election petition, asked the NASA chief, to go back to his people, and participate in the election.Through an article on Sunday Standard, the sister to Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo Jnr, Odinga's failure to participate in election would benefit neither him, nor his supporters."A sustained electioneering period, beyond the 60 days mandated by the constitution and pronounced by the Supreme Court, will not in any way advantage you or the people you are seeking to vote. The ardor of your supporters will be dampened. Their strength will soon be exhausted. Their spirit will wane," she said.The daughter to former Education Minister and Makueni senator Mutula Kilonzo, cited ancient Chinese army general and strategist Sun Tzu who warned that the "object of war is victory not lengthy campaigns".According to her, street demonstrations by NASA will not give them, nor Raila, the victory that they are seeking, but would rather result to end of more lives.
