[Photo|KEWOPA]Kenya Women Parliament Association (Kewopa) Executive Committee members met with the German Ambassador, along with her counterparts from Denmark, Finland, High Commissioner of Australia as well as all women Heads of Missions in Kenya on Wednesday.They discussed different issues of interest to women in general and women parliamentarians in particular. The discussions majored on women representation, capacity, protection of devolution, special concern for women such as national cohesion, Gender-Based Violence among other critical issues.Kewopa members include:Kirinyaga Woman Representative Wangui Ngirici - chairperson.Kisumu Woman Representative Rosa Buyu - vice chairperson in the National Assembly.Nominated Senator Milicent Omanga - vice chairperson in the Senate.Millie Odhiambo - vice chairperson in charge of Women Caucus.Mishi Mboko - secretary.Charity Chepkwony - vice secretary.Tecla Tum - treasurer.Beatrice Adagala - vice treasurerAlice Wahome - Women Caucus chairperson.Lilian Tomitom - YouthGetrude Inimah - PWDs.Abshiro Halake - chairperson in charge of senators.Prof Margaret Kamar - chairperson in charge og elected senators.Prof Jacquline Oduol - chairperson in charge of nominated MPs.
