Last week, Kenya Premier League (KPL) Champions Gor Mahia qualified for the group stage of the Confederations of African Football (CAF) Confederations Cup after edging out South Africa’s SuperSport United.

The Kenyan giants qualified on an away goals rule, after the two-legged match between the sides ended on a 2-2 goal aggregate. On Saturday, CAF released the draw for the group stage. 

Gor Mahia landed in Group D alongside Yanga of Tanzania, Rayon Sports of Rwanda and U.S.M Alger of Algeria.

Here are the key dates for K'Ogallo fans to look forward ahead of the CAF Confederations Cup group matches. The matches will be played on home and away basis.

May 04, 2018 – Rayon Sports vs Gor Mahia

May 15, 2018 – Gor Mahia vs U.S.M Alger

July 17, 2018 – Gor Mahia vs Yanga

July 27, 2018 – Yanga vs Gor Mahia

August 17, 2018 – Gor Mahia vs Rayon Sports

August 28, 2018 – U.S.M Alger vs Gor Mahia

The top two teams from the group will qualify for the quarterfinals set for September 14 and 21, 2018.

Semifinals will be played on October 02 and 23, 2018 while the final match of the tournament will be played on November 23 and 30, 2018. 

The final also features home and away games.
