Ego is man's self-concept, feeling of self-worth and possibly his biggest enemy, because once it’s bruised, as it takes a very long time to heal.
Like a turtle, men have super fragile inside but a super tough outside, only a women with bigger, stronger and more powerful connection to the man fragile inside can challenge his tough outside and get through the shell, and once inside, a man becomes highly exposed and vulnerable to the same.
A man will soon let his ego control his emotions than allow his heart to control it, especially if his ego has been bruised by the same women which make him feel inadequate and sooner let go of the women rather than feel hurt and bad about himself.
True women, must handle her Man's ego like an egg! it’s so fragile, just like a real man must handle his woman's heart.
Man, does your girlfriend/wife trust you? Well does she keep on calling you so often when you are out? Asking you where you are and who you are with, sometimes even insisting to talk to your friends on phone?
This could be an indicator that she doesn’t trust you!
The mistrust from her and could be as a result of her cultural learning/past experiences of betrayal or observance of external examples of mistrust in the society/parents she doesn’t trust herself & she knows how easy it is to be in faithful to you her self-esteem, she doesn’t believe she is your perfect partner hence fear that there is someone outside there most suited for you.
Whatever the case this could be the worst threat to your longstanding relationship as trust is a key pillar of any healthy relationship.
