Eldas MP Adan Keynan has urged NASA leader Raila Odinga to concede defeat and help stabilise the country's unity and peace.

In an interview with a local daily on Monday, Keynan said that Raila's rejection of the presidential results has put the country in a panic and tension mode.

The MP wants Raila and his co-principals to consider the interests of Kenyans and concede defeat.

He said that the country will move on if NASA leaders speak for the interest of peace.

“I want to ask Raila and his principals to consider the interests of the country and concede defeat or file their grievances in court,” he said as quoted by the Standard.

Keynan said that the court is the best option for Raila’s grievances and not the streets.

He said that the courts will provide amicable solution and avert the stalemate that hangs over the country in regards to the presidential polls.

The MP also asked Kenyans to be peaceful and shun leaders advocating for violence.

NASA has disputed the presidential results that declared president  Uhuru Kenyatta the winner last week.

The opposition claims that intruders hacked into IEBC servers and allegedly rigged the polls in favour of Jubilee.

NASA has ruled out moving to court and is expected to make announcement to its supporters on what to do next.

Pressure from local and international leaders is piling on Raila Odinga to concede defeat.

Uhuru Kenyatta was declared winner by IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati garnering over 8.2 Million votes against Raila’s 6.8 million votes.
